From 28 to 29 June 2025
FreeTo mark the centenary of the International Exhibition of White Coal and Tourism, Maison Bergès invites you to discover or rediscover the story of one of the pioneers of hydroelectricity. In the mid-19th century, Aristide Bergès moved to the foothills of the Alps to exploit the energy riches of the mountains. Snow-capped peaks, slopes, lakes and streams! For him, the mountains were an inexhaustible source of renewable energy, hydroelectricity or white coal.
