Join our guides for a chance to observe the starry sky from the Cosmocité viewing platform. This evening offers an opportunity to learn the basics of stargazing with the naked eye, as well as the instruments and techniques used to observe the planets and the mysteries of the deep sky. The evening will be co-hosted by members of local astronomy clubs. On the programme: - The current night sky and the typical constellations of the season - The observable planets (Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, etc.) and/or the Moon, if they are visible in the evening sky - A few deep-sky objects such as galaxies and nebulae, depending on observing conditions. - An introduction to the basic use of the observation tools at our disposal. PLEASE NOTE: In the event of bad weather, you will be notified by email of the cancellation the day before the event. Please remember to bring warm clothing and, if possible, a flask of hot drink. Ages 15 and over. Booking required. Payment is to be made on the day of the event. Please remember to bring a means of payment.
