Housed in the Champollion family estate, the Musée Champollion presents the life and work of Jean-François, the famous decipherer of hieroglyphics, and his elder brother Jacques-Joseph, also a renowned intellectual. Inside the house, the reconstructed rooms, personal objects and working notes plunge you into the intellectual effervescence of the early 19th century. From Isère to the banks of the Nile, witness the rediscovery of Egypt and the birth of Egyptology. You can also enjoy the garden and park, restored in the spirit of the 19th century.

Horaires d'ouverture
- Tuesday to Sunday:
- April 1 to October 31: 10am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 6pm
- November 1 to March 31: 10am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5pm
- Last admission 30 minutes before closing time.
- Closed on Mondays, January 1, May 1 and between December 25 and January 1.
