Visit of the Museum de la Grande Chartreuse
Since 1957, the Grande Chartreuse museum's mission has been to speak to the life of the Carthusian monks. Because they withdrew to the end of the valley to find the solitude and silence necessary for their contemplation, they cannot open their monastery to the public. Therefore, this is the purpose of the museum, organized in the former house of the brothers, a small authentic monastery until the 17th century.

- Open: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- June: every day except Thursday.

- Open: 10:00-12:30 and 14:00-18:30 except Sundays, 14:00-18:30.
- Ticket office closes 45 minutes before the Museum
