Les Caves de la Chartreuse
The Caves de la Chartreuse tourist and cultural site invites you to discover the world of liqueurs, our exceptional heritage and the expertise of the Carthusian monks, through a new guided tour. As you enter this new museographic space, you'll stroll through the former production site in 7 areas symbolizing the major periods in the history of Chartreuse liqueurs. From the origins of l'Élixir, through the birth of the liqueur, to the founding of the brand, you'll be able to see nearly 1,200 original pieces, never before exhibited. The tour continues through an area entirely dedicated to the plants that form the basis of the monks' liqueurs. Here, all your senses will be awakened, and you'll be able to taste, see, touch and smell.
